Machine Learning
I have extensive experience designing, constructing, training, tuning, and deploying machine learning models for applications in science and engineering. This experience includes the use of generative and machine vision models for problems in particle accelerator operations and modeling, as well as experimental controls and automation. Much of this work has included elements of stochastic modeling and uncertainty quantification.
Scientific Programming
I have nearly a decade of scientific programming experience, including the development of advanced simulation software and analysis pipelines. This experience spans domains from atomistic simulations of solid state materials to effective circuit and signal transport models for RF systems and even astronomical observational environments. I've also done a substantial amount of work on experimental control systems, particularly using the EPICS framework.
Research Development & Project Management
I've served as a technical lead on a number of projects in the area of particle accelerator modeling and operations. In my current role, I actively develop concepts for research projects and oversee the writing and execution of funding proposals, including identifying relevant grant opportunities. I also have a professional certificate in Engineering Management in the Aerospace Industry, and am interested in further developing this facet of my career.
